Friendship between nations must be renewed by every generation.
The Czech-Israeli relationship has deep historical foundations, but history alone cannot sustain it. It requires institutions, local communities, scholars, educators and citizens to create new forms of cooperation.
My role is often that of a translator and convener: connecting people who hold different pieces of the same possibility.
